The Howoten hand warmers are surprising. I got the blue ones and they look really nice. It has a smooth flat white frame and metallic blue heating area. There's a 3-light indicator for battery level (blue lights) and temperature (red lights). The button also has a clear plastic ring around it that glows/pulses blue or red if you did the battery status check (press twice) or turned it on heating mode (hold for 2s). The two can stick together by magnets or you can separate them. Each unit still operates independently though, so you'll have to turn them both on or off, even if you have them stuck together. This gives you a lot of options though. This heater can work in separate pockets, or if you have a large central pocket like on a hoodie, you can have a ball of heat. You can also hold all of it in one hand to heat your palm and fingers. Individually it's large enough to cover just my palm or just my fingers.So what about warmth? These can get noticeably warm, but they won't get too hot. I've only tried using them with my bare hands though, I haven't tried using them through gloves yet, so that may change things. But they don't get dangerously hot or unbearably hot. The difference in warmth is noticeable between level 1, 2, and 3.All in all, I'm pretty happy with the Howoten hand warmers. They look really good, they're not too large, and they're pretty lightweight. Doubling as both a hand warmer and as a mobile power bank (x2!), it's a pretty nice thing to have today if you're on the go, have your phone, and find your hands getting cold. Just a heads up though, it won't warm if you're charging it, but the battery life is pretty good.
