Very good little machine for that price. A helpful tip: it can get a bit quirky sometimes, just open the sealing arm, unplug it and plug it back in and it will re-set. I love the adjustable suction power and the manual control/seal button. I can now vacuum pack our cookies and other delicate food without crushing it. My Foodsaver was five times the price of this machine and it lasted less than 2 years, very disappointed with Foodsaver brand. We’ll have to see how long this one lasts, but at that price, I can afford to replace every 1.5 years if I must.This unit fails to vacuum. Only used it a minimum number of times.It is a good machine but it will slide on the counter and mess up the bag location unless you have two people, one holding the machine and the other one closing and starting suction.Works only half the timeIt works ok for very generic dry situations. It doesn't vacuum pack it as tight as more expensive ones. It freezes up and the lights keep blinking and I have to unplug it and re-plug it back in to reset it quite often. other than that it is small and handy for small jobs.I'll be honest, I only use this product to reseal bags of chips like Doritos, Lays, etc. the suction works great but the sealing process doesn't lock in the seal very well. the bags lose their suction over time. I found however if you push down on the sealer as it is sealing it helps. not a bad little vacuum sealer but not great either!It was what we were looking for.Very pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t expecting much of a vacuum sealer, because of the great low price. But I was so surprised. I have a high dollar sealer and bought this as a replacement. This one is so lightweight and easy to use. It has a slim sleek design. You can adjust the suction power which is a great feature. It put a great seal on the bag, which gives me confidence that my food will stay fresh and safe. I highly recommend this product and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this again.
