I love this vacuum sealer and am using this now instead of my bag sealer that is quite large, complicated and doesn't work half the time. This mini sealer is powerful, sucks the air out of bags and it stays out. You do have to buy special bags, unlike the large food sealer that uses sheets of plastic that you cut and then seal. That being said, for the cost of this little unit vs the cost of the $300 sealer I have (that now sits in the garage), I could buy a lot of bags. The unit is rechargeable. It is small and thus easy to store in my kitchen. I am using it to freeze a lot of my garden produce. Love love love.I am very surprised. Foor $25.51 this kit is great. I tried it with a couple of pounds of coffee beans at it took every ounce of air out of the bag. Really, not kidding. It truly vacuum packed it and made the whole bag 1 piece. Nothing loose at all. Really worth it for the money.***UPDATE—I bumped this up from 1 star to 3 stars because the seller did finally send a replacement free of charge. I can’t state how well or not the item works as I haven’t tried it yet. Packaged great included all accessories but is a different model from the previous one.**UPDATE —This seller contacted me “after” the item was returned to tell me to video the item not working and that they would send me a new one without having to return the non working item. I explained that the item was already returned I can’t take video. Another message came stating that I would be sent a replacement free of charge to respond to an attachment in message which was an email only. Not knowing what to do because communication is horrible I emailed that email and explained what the situation was. I then received a message addressed to a totally different person and a totally different persons bad review of the same problem I had with the item. **buyer beware** I did receive a full refund for the item quickly but trying to get any sense of communication is impossible. Item was packaged well but just simply didn’t work at all.This arrived super fast and I was anxious to get to vacuum sealing my garden veggies however, it never worked. Plugged it in for 24 hours thinking it needed charging first still nothing completely dead. The red charging light works though. Returning for refund I’ll pay extra for something that works and not waste my time.I can vacuum seal my produce as well as grains and nuts from oxidation and moth infestation.Great for small spaces. Love that the bags are reusableThis product worked so well I purchases 2 of them. Works great and very easy to use.My first experience with a sealer - great little gadget for the price. Vacuum could be a little more powerful, but works. Nice attachments. Bags seem sturdy. Nice long cord to recharge. Holds a charge well. Once you get the hang of it, I use it for most everything. I wrap meat in plastic wrap first, then freeze. Be careful with juicy veggies, it will squeeze the juice right out of them.
