It works as advertised. No sound whatsoever, plug in and use, dries boots perfectly overnight. In the morning boots inside and out are totally dry, a little warm and no musty smell from wet boots. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the 3 sections you have to assemble don’t “snap” together like it should. The tube sections, you just put one in the other and squeeze it as hard as you can to make sure it doesn’t come apart. I think it only goes inside about a 1/2”. The top sections that goes inside the boot doesn’t even squeeze on top, and it just sits there so sometimes when I pull a boot off that piece comes off inside the boot. But, it dries my boots and I can fix those minor issues myself. These review questions are really dumb.Sent and noise on a boot dryer? There is no fan and no motor and no noise. This dryer works great all day every day. No complaints.Get one. They really work great.AND WITH NO SCENT……………I’ve thought about buying one of these for years. After 3 days of using I realized I should have done it a long time ago. Do you know how nice it is to put completely dry work boots in every single morning? Boots that are also warm? It’s SO glorious. And I have kids who jump in puddles every single opportunity, water the flowers (or the gravel) without remembering to change into their muck boots first. So I was constantly… CONSTANTLY drying tennis shoes in the dryer, which is loud and makes the shoes loose their shape quicker. This thing has been used almost daily since we got it regardless of the season. This boot.dryer is a small heater with tubes to direct the rising air into your boot. No fan no nothing. It does seem to work. It makes my mud room smell funky, because my boots are wet and funky. It does not seem like a substantial bit of kit so how long it will last is my question. I do believe a little air flow would be nice with the heat but I’m not a engineer so maybe it wouldn’t matter.I don’t usually write reviews but have to complement this product very well. On Saturday I was drenched from a torrential rain event. My shoes got soaked while at work. On Sunday I ordered this and it came the very next day. I put it together and put it on all night and day and by the time I was ready to go back to work Tuesday night. They were totally dry. I do have to mention my shoes were full of water before. I would recommend this product. The parts come off easily but the thing does its job. My rubber boots were completely soaked and it took three days to dry them. The device is very quiet.I'm writing this review based on having to get a replacement unit, and how the new one works. The first unit didn't work: the heating element was faulty. The replacement process was very easy, and the new unit shipped quickly. I really like how it works, warms up well and dries my sweaty boots after a long summer day. I can tell that it will be even nicer when the snow time comes.I Have used my boot dryer everyday and it is a game changer. There nice and warm when I slip them on in the morning and it does not dry the leather out on the boot. Very good product.I bought this to dry work boots. My partner would come home with sopping wet feet after flagging in west coast rain.He would dread putting them on the next day but would nonetheless and go and work another 12 hours in them. This was a great purchase. You put the work boots on in the evening and by the early morning theyre bone dry!It is a silent operating machine. We had it in the living room (of all places lol) and it didn't stink either.Very good little machine and easy to store when it isnt in use!I originally thought this thing had a fan. When I received it and I saw there was no fan I was disappointed. But decided to give it a try. To my surprise they dryer my boots in 24 hours. Now my boots are motocross riding boots and I was ball deep in a swamp. They were completely soaked. Had to hose the inside of my boots to get all the mud and sand out. Didn't think it would dry them but they did. Very well I must say. I gave this product a 4 star because of the price. Over priced in my opinion. It should sell for 30$ max.I would recommend this product. I did not read the description well enough or I would have discovered that there is very little heat as such and no fan to circulate the warm air throughout the boot. As a result any type of drying takes over a day.The unit is very bulky and takes up far too much room. I returned it and ordered another type of boot dryerI received my order promptly and I could not wait to use the shoe/boot dryer on my son's wet boots from jumping in muddy puddles that day! It was perfect! I threw the boots on the dryer and after 20 min I could tell they were drying and I left them over night and my son's wet boots were ready to be worn to get muddy again in the morning! Now it's my turn to try this with my running shoes that were just washed and needing to be dried?Thank you for selling an amazing and well worth it product!
