I use it to store a 13 pound bag of cat food. I am disappointed that the whole bag doesn’t fit in the main compartment. A little pricey.I wanted a container that holds both my cats dry and wet food and this is perfect for it. I am able to fit 8 3 oz cans and my 8 lb bag of dry food with more than enough froom to add more. You can easily put in bigger cans on the top as I have enough room on either side. Also on top of being airtight their is a hidden compartment inside under the lid for you to put desiccant packs so that there is no moisture in the food. I will definitely buy more products from Mxcell.This container is great. I use it for my cats dry cat food and have less mess when getting out to fill bowl. So glad I got this!!!Update review: This broke less than a month having it. The seals were already having issues upon delivery but I didn't think it would make a difference but it does. I now have to order something else to keep my corgis dog food fresh since this is so cheaply made and broke already. This was a total waste of my money. I wanted to love this so kept it but I should have just returned it when I received it and seen issues before using.June 28th reviewMissing a item that was supposed to be included to keep the food fresh so I rated this a 3.It had a VERY strong odor and I ended up washing this a few times and letting it dry before use. It does seem to be air tight as it is hard to latch the tabs around the sides but one of my tabs are actually broken and I didn't notice it until I went to put the food in it and use it but I needed this item for when I travel to keep my corgis food safe and also sealed. It seems to still be well latched even with the broken tab. I typically would return it but I just don't have time to do that since I leave for vacation so soon.I included photos of the item. Over all if I had everything that was supposed to be included and it didn't have a broken tab I would have gave this 5 stars. Also the strong odor did come out after a few washes so don't let that scare you away from getting this.I am having a little trouble making it seal.This is perfect for storing dry dog food. It’s convenient and keeps it dry. I buy 20 lb bags of puppy food and what doesn’t fit fills a gallon zip lock bag. That is something I can totally deal with though since the container is compact, fits perfectly where I keep it, and gives me easy access to feeding. I think it’s perfect for what I need.Love overall but the lid doesn’t always seal…Not air tight quality not worthy if price in my opinion. Recieved broken and air tight gasket doesn't stay in place.
