I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my friend. She loved this item, as do I. The pan is quite heavy and solid, real cast iron. The stand is pretty standard. When we used this, we put a tealight upside down on the bottom and then one on top of it to give the tealight more height. It worked very nicely and before long a large wax melt had melted completely. This wax warmer and trivet set is absolutely adorable and a perfect miniature of the real thing. 5 stars!
