My daughter has severe eczema and wears these as scratch sleeves. They help her not be as itchy.Edit: It looks as if the manufacturer made some changes and when offered the chance to review another set of arms, I found they did fit my child better than the first batch. Customer service was very helpful and saw the product arrived quickly, and for all of that my daughter, at almost 5 years old now, can still wear both the first set and the new ones though she says the new set is more comfortable and they seem stretchier/better fitting. I'll order again for my younger kids once they're out of the stroller and running around in the sunshine.first review:I like the idea of these but I'm not sure about the sizing at all. I've got a three year old who is average in build and these leave really distinct pressure marks on her biceps. She's never complained or tried to take them off but they really look as if they're too tight on her upper arm, enough so I'll only let her wear them ten minutes or so at a time before we swap to sunscreen. Still, they give her arms a little bit of protection on the rock wall and climbing surfaces of our local park and with a longer sleeve shirt, I just leave the bicep area folded down around her elbows. So...it kind of works. So sleeves like these are a must. These are the only children's UV protection arm sleeves that I can find on amazon. As they only come in a 3-pack, I have bought 3 3-packs so we have several pairs in case some get dirty. They work well, stay up on her arms as she plays and the thumb holes are great. What I don't like and why I'm downgrading to 4 stars is because they only come in 3 colors. Come on now. Kids love color. White, Orange, and Blue with thumbholes? Give us pink, purple, green, red!Love these sleeves! We bought these for our 4yr old daughter who suffers from eczema. She needed something to keep her cool and prevent her from scratching. I have bought different brands and were way too small or didnt allow for stretching due to the material they used. These sleeves are big enough, stretchy and comfortable. For reference, our daughter is 4 years old, 43inches, and 54 lbs.I’m not 100% sold on these. Initially I ordered one pair for my 12 year old son and really liked them. They fit better and are more comfortable than others I have tried; however, after buying 2 more pairs, I sent my son to golf camp with one of the brand new sets and one came home with holes/snags. I also wish there were more colors. It’s hard to match the light blue and orange with his existing golf wear. White is great and maybe navy, black, gray, would be great options in the future?I have bought the three pack for kids multiple times for my son, age 4. He has pretty significant eczema. We are able to put aquafor on his arms and place these on his arms over night and be confident he won't scratch,bespeically with the thumb hole that reminds him not to pull down on the sleeve. We do the same when we send him off to daycare. Good quality, only reason we order more is because of how dirty/discolored they get from all his outside playing in the dirt piles.
