These are soft inside with nothing to irritate the skin. These are great for cool weather. My husband arm was severely damaged in an accident. He has poor circulation and the arm gets cold quickly. This works very well for indoor and outdoor use when he only needs a light shirt. It works great under a long sleeved shirt in colder weather. I just wish I could get the return problem solved so I could order more.I used to be the kind of cyclist that would only go out for a long ride if the weather was perfect. Now that I'm training for a big ride, I have to get out when it's cold and not so fantastic out. For the first couple months, I was wearing a long sleeve shirt and sometimes a jacket to keep warm. Now that I've picked up these thermal sleeves, I can go out with a regular jersey! I was concerned about them being a little too bright but they're perfect to match my black bike with pink accents. I'm very happy to have something that's highly visible, even if I'm not riding at night.I’m a cop and work the night shift. Here in Colorado the days get warm and the nights super cold. With the body armour my core stays nice and warm but my arms get cold. These were just what I needed. Thanks!!!There were a very thick material and I think would have held up well, but I just couldn’t get used to the band around my upper arm. It felt tight, and was uncomfortable for me. I’d sooner just shed layers for warmth on my runs.IMLou was a cold and wet one and these were basically all that I used for cover and they worked great. Great fit and quality.Very good quality, didn't tear or scuff during a crash on gravel. Good grip and tightness - no slipping.Far superior to stockinettes for protection of bandages on arms and elbows.
