Exactly as described/anticipated. This is my 3rd purchase of similar warmers (last being a Curtis, which was a little longer in form and with a rocker switch rather than toggle; I prefer this build). Seller was quick, price competitive. As for the function, so far (2nd day) I'm enjoying the perfect piping-hot temperature it sustains, and it's easy to clean also. For me it's personal-use, once a day in the morning, Melitta-made pot of coffee and then kept warm on this for a 2nd/third cup throughout the morning. Perfect for this - and perfectly sized for the Melitta carafe too (and I suppose many others). Does the job and seems solidly built to last.
