Beautiful pieceBefore I begin, I want to say I read some other reviews and comments about this item (specifically the negative and low-rating ones) and was almost frightened away from this purchase. Do not be frightened! This product arrived way before the EDD, was packaged so all three ladies were protected and the glass bowl was in its own bubble wrap to avoid damage to itself or the ladies. Mine did not arrive broken because of the careful packaging.I am not sure what the item is made of (the bowl is glass but the rest is unknown), however it's sturdy enough to pick up and place without fear of breaking anything. The bowl itself is a little shallow for a water/oil diffuser in my opinion, however it holds enough liquid to contain a small scented wax cube just fine, and using the wax cubes reduces the risk of the bowl cracking because the oil/water has evaporated, or having oil drip onto the ladies and remove the paint coating (this was a complaint in one comment I read).If you are thinking of getting this item for yourself or anyone else, do it! I strongly suggest using the wax cubes to avoid any troubles (I prefer wax over oil anyway, less mess!). Five stars for being as elegant and beautiful in person as it is in the pictures here, for not being broken on arrival, and for making an excellent Christmas present for my mom.I was so delighted when I received "Woman's Prayer" oil warmer. It is truly beautiful. I've used it everyday since I received it. This is an extremely well made piece. I'm sure it will be cherished for many years after I'm gone. In the meantime, I cherish it already. It feels like the base is stone, something like granite, and the figures are smooth, sort of like polished iron only with matt finish. In the center is a small glass cup, just perfect for the tea lights. The basin for the oil/water is also clear glass; and larger than most of my other warmers and a little deeper. Because of this, I find I do not have to add water as frequently as for the others. I have added large quartz crystals and flourite between the women sculptures. I love the way the light shines through them. The piece itself has a serene vibe, it is relaxing just to look at. I think it would fit nicely into any decor/environment ( well maybe not a "man cave") It would make a perfect gift for almost anyone and if you are someone (or knows someone) with a Yoga studio, it would fit it beautifully. Not to mention the variety of oils available. Something for everyone. It is more lovely in person than the photo and feels great too!I ordered three of these warmers. I gave two to friends for their birthdays and I kept one for myself. When I opened the one for myself, I found that one of the heads had broken off. I super glued it back on because I didn't want to hassle with returning the item and wait for a new one. My friends' birthdays fell on the same day that I received these items and I wanted to give them the unopened gifts, on their birthday, hoping neither were broken. I thought, 'What are the chances that all three of these would be broken'? When my friends opened their gifts, one came out perfectly in tact; the other, unfortunately, had a broken head just like my warmer. I was so disappointed but I also knew I was taking a risk after finding my own warmer broken. The good news is that my friends claimed to love their gifts. The one who received the broken warmer was a great sport and said she had plenty of glue at home, lol. I myself love the warmer. It's beautiful when all is in place. I hope this company comes up with a better packaging solution so others can enjoy the product in its entirety.Like many other reviews said, mine arrived with one of the people broken off. I easily fixed with glue and it’s fine now. Wish it was bigger.It is a very attractive piece of decor to have,i love it.GOOD-It has the perfect space for the oil as well as water on the top , and with a few drops of oil it gives a great smell to a large area, which is hard to achieve.-Excellent quality .DRAWBACKS- It has to be refilled with water at intervals(2-3 hrs) as the water evaporates after a while due to the heat .-It should be kept out of reach of children and pets as its pretty delicate and the top glass is not attached to the statue,and it tends to fall if not kept properly .But for a very elegant look and a great smell, its definitely worth it .Let me just start off by saying that if you are willing to work with what you get, and you liked the item when you saw its picture, then I guarantee you will probably enjoy this item. That said, like any loving relationship, it WILL--it appears--require a great deal of patience and forgiveness in what's being offered to you. I was deeply excited about this product when I first ordered it, and still am--it burns great, and is beautiful in appearance. I RECEIVED this product, however, in a very broken condition; one of the heads of the sitting women was detached from the base, even though the product had been sealed in at least some kind of protective wrapping (foam, cardboard, etc.). It took me a few weeks to get back to it, but after resealing it to its frame with crazy glue, it eventually looked good as new...which is why I say--if you are willing to work with what will most likely be some type of error in the delivery of this product (and as cheap as it is, it IS kind of a "you get what you pay for" situation, so there's that), then I honestly believe you may come to thoroughly enjoy your burner.Works well. Quality is good. It feels somewhat heavy so im guessing thats good.
