I love my plate warmer and I use it every dayI bought this for events in a cold, old house where the plates are always cold. I learned about this style of plate warmer from a friend. I did a bit of searching before I bought this and there do not seem to be others out there in this style. Price is high but it is well made and was shipped quickly. My friend almost fell over when I told her the price - she had bought hers for about $25 many years ago!We used them last night and they were great, the plates were not too hot and it left room in the oven for the food.Great but gets a little too hot!I would never recommend this product to anyone. It takes hours to just gently warm up my dinner plates. I had to replace a Plate Warmer that I have been using for years and the contrast is so significant. On stop of that I felt that the price was very high so it has been a great disappointment. If I could have ever found the paperwork, I would have returned it.Always love serving a hot meal on a warm plate. Was using my oven to warm the plates. Too many errors, too warm or not warm enough.Guests love having warm plates too!!!!I've used it to heat up 15 plates and it works great. Warm plates are an elegant touch for formal dinners.
